Upgrading your Car Bonus

As part of Wheely’s 2024 Strategy, we are focusing our efforts on providing the utmost quality in all journeys to our passengers.

In this respect, we have identified several features as key differentiator for our vehicles based on passenger feedback, especially for our New First Class service. This means that our vehicle requirements have had to evolve to meet higher passenger expectations.

What is the incentive?

You can receive £3,000 for completing 145 journeys in 8 weeks' time.

If you have already received an upgrade incentive for your new W223 you are not eligible for another one or for additional compensation in case your reward is lower based on the previous incentive.

How does the sign-up incentive work?

This incentive applies to all Wheely Chauffeurs that upgrade their cars to a W223 (not older than 2 years) since the 1st of January 2024.

How many journeys do I have to complete?

In order to receive the incentive, after upgrading your car, you must complete 145 First OR New First Class journeys within 8 weeks from activation of your car.

Who does the Upgrade Bonus incentive apply?

The programme applies exclusively to chauffeurs who upgraded their cars to an S-Class W223 after the 1st January 2024. Examples of eligibility:

  • Chauffeur used to have an E-Class and upgrade to a W223 after the 1st of January 2024;

  • Chauffeur used to have an S-Class W222 and upgrade to a W223 after the 1st of January 2024;

What are the features your car has to have in order to be eligible?

You S-Class can only be on First and New First Class, if it has:

  • Panoramic sunroof

  • Long wheelbase

  • Reclining and heated rear seat

  • Headrest pillows on rear seats

  • Rear seats air conditioning control panel

When will I receive my incentive?

You will see the reward in your chauffeur profile on the app as soon as you complete the required number of journeys. The incentive will be reflected in your weekly earnings the following Monday.

Do Business journeys count towards this incentive?

No, only First or New First Class journeys count towards this incentive.

Which journeys count towards the incentive?

Either First or New First ASAPs and pre-booked journeys count. Additionally, journeys that were paid cancellations will count.

I just activated my new vehicle, and completed my first journey but still don’t see the incentive, what should I do?

There might be a short delay between activating your account and when you start seeing the incentive in the app. Not to worry, any journey completed during this delay will be counted once the incentive appears on the app.
